As Chicas

There are these girls I want to introduce you to. They’re called Chicas. I went to one of their concerts this month and I can say: they are great, they are fresh and real brazilian music, they are worth getting to know.

The group, which consists of Isadora Medella, Paula Leal and by the sisters Fernanda Gonzaga and Amora Pêra, Gonzaguinha‘s daughters, has a very interesting musical proposal. They explore a large varietyof instruments at stage, from piano and accordion to typewriters and water which results in a misture of baião, funk, samba… it’s like a new MPB.

Welcome to Rio

As a travel lover, I am always looking for what’s best in my destination, tough tour guides usually don’t give the feedback I want. It would be such a great deal to have tips from a local, good places to eat, go out at night, go shopping…
